Repeat Timer Pro: Countdown App Reviews

Great Potential but Paid not worth it

Dont get me wrong I like the app but the paid version isnt worth the cost. If it were .99 then maybe. I thought I was getting much better sounds maybe even custom ones. Instead the additional sounds are obnoxious and grade school quality. Would love to see an update but dont believe it will ever come.

Simple. Effective

I use this daily to pomodoro. Does what I need it to do very well. Not pretty.

Peacocks & Roosters

Super easy to use. Love the sounds, dont miss them in the daily noise of life. Super fast response from developer when I had an issue. Highly recommend.

Great with one flaw

Overall, this app is great, especially because it can continue to notify you even if its in the background, unlike many other timers. The one reason Im giving it four stars instead of five is that the alarm sound is always played at maximum volume even when your system volume is low. Fix this bug and Ill give it five stars!

Good

Should have an option to set of an alarm or beep every minute or so for switching workout during a set. Otherwise awesome.

Not sure Yet!

Just playing with it since my old Yoga Timer died. So far looks great and super clean and easy. HOWEVER, I agree with the glitch that we cant control volume. I also want to have the options on No sound and Vibration. And, I dont appreciate the woman moaning sound.. Clean these up and you get Five! I will see how I like this teaching, and then decide whether I need to reclaim the $3 or wait for the update.

Great App But 4 Timer Limit

After initialing liking the free version, I purchased the Pro version to get beyond the imposed limitations. Although Ive been using the Pro version for quite a while and like it very much, I recently discovered a very disappointing limitation: the ability to define a total of only 4 timers. Why limit this great app to being able to set up only 4 timers?

Absolutely Perfect

Ive tried others, and this one is everything I need. Great selection of sounds and works perfectly, never had any issues with it.

Few Issues

I didn’t get a reminder the first time, so that’s a big problem. I’m also really surprised that it doesn’t have a vibration option. I wouldn’t have bought it if I’d known that. I have to refresh a webpage every 10 minutes today and hoped to have this remind me, but if I’m away from my desk and put the phone in my pocket, I can’t always hear it — so a vibration option would be nice. In fact, it seems like a no-brainer.

Very nice

Good sound alerts, like auto repeat. Wish it had vibrate option. Definitely like it!

Good, but...

A vibrating signal would not be so noticeable by others, more than four timers and background operation would make this much better.

Unsolved mystery

While I like this app VERY MUCH. And it is VERY FUNCTIONAL. After having contacted the developer numerous times and received prompt replies from him. I have tried EVERY SUGGESTION HE OFFERED and still am unable to make the Repeat Timer pro app sound an alarm when the phone is turned off. (Like the native iPhone timer alarm does) He said he has over 10,000 customers using this app and has never encountered the problem I have. My conclusion is that my specific iPhone 4S with IOS 8.1.3 update cannot perform that one simple function. Even though all 128 apps installed on my phone work fine. I will keep the app and not ask for a refund. Hoping that when I buy the iPhone 6S plus this Fall the Repeat Timer pro app will then work as promised. If anyone with my level of iPhone and IOS update has a solution I would appreciate it.

One problem

Great simple layout, but the signal doesnt work in the background.

Very nice and very simple.

I like it. Please make iPad version.

Only 4 timers on pro???

First, to those of you who say it has no vibration alarm, it does vibrate- when phone silent button is set to on. I believe you have to also turn on "vibrate on silent" mode in sound settings. Now, I do love this app because I can save timers I use everyday. However, please add more than 4 timers to pro version??!

iOS8 Issue

Excellent timer which I used multiple times daily for cooking, meditation and such. Then why only one star? I just got a new G6 iPod running iOS8. Although the app worked brilliantly under iOS7, it has a fatal flaw in iOS8: if the screen is asleep, the alarm is silent. For my purpose, this makes the program essentially useless. Artem Laptisky, according to the AppleStore site, last updated the app in 2013 under iOS6.

I want to give it no stars

The timer does not work at all. There are no sounds for the intervals and its completely useless. I want my money back.

Perfect.

Exactly what I needed. This app allows you to set multiple timers throughout the day without the need to dismiss them. It can also be set to just ring once. This is great for people who want a simple reminder to breeze or relax or stand up and walk around if youre sitting at your desk all day. Everyone should own this app. It has four timers. I would like to see more please.

Not Sounding Alarm on all Repeats

Used to work great, but now not sounding alarm on repeats. Cant use anymore.

Problem with ios 9/iPhone 6s

I had been running Repeat Timer Pro on my iPhone 4s (iOS 8) with no problems. I recently upgraded to an iPhone 6s running iOS 9 and am now having a problem. When the timer expires, I only hear the sound if the phone is awake and the application is the foreground app. I dont see any notifications either. Notifications are enabled for the app. Obviously, its not very useful like this. I just sent this information to the developer.
